What’s an average day like for the CEO of Probus OneTouch and Snap Internet Marketing? That’s what the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal set out to find when they shadowed our CEO, George Lee, on June 11.

Lee’s day starts and ends with checking his email—a definite staple of communication in the Internet marketing world.

After coffee and greeting employees usually comes a series of meetings, both for his for-profit Internet retail business (with digital marketing services) and his nonprofit organization, Jobs Foundation, which provides skills and training for disadvantaged individuals. The two businesses are close enough that he can drive from one to the other in less than 15 minutes.

Lunch is a fiber bar chowed down between meetings while responding to more emails. Around 6pm, Lee heads home to a house full of dinner guests. Monday nights are “family night,” where a group of friends and family take turns as “chef” for a 3-course meal that they cook together.
