Service: Facebook Contest

Goal: Increase Facebook fan base and fan engagement

Our Strategy: In the month leading up to Father’s Day, we invited users to “like” the Mower Source page to be entered into a drawing for a new lawn mower as a Father’s Day Giveaway. During the contest, we posted information and educational and humorous content to engage fans. We also ran Facebook Ads to promote the contest for a portion of the contest time frame.

Results:

Growth of Fan Base During Contest:
  • 844 new likes from ads and sponsored stories
  • 92 new likes from the Facebook page
  • 17 new mobile likes
