Tyler came to Snap with a background in digital marketing and sales, and now works along side clients to create and execute custom SEO strategies focused on achieving and exceeding goals. Born and raised in the Twin Cities and Google Analytics Certified since 2014, Tyler graduated from Bethel University with a BA in Organizational Communications.

What was your first concert like?

I saw a christian artist named Carman with my parents and family friends at the Target Center when I was like 6. Carman told stories in his songs and they were pretty corny, and felt more like a broadway show than a concert, but his Yo Kidz 2 album was my jam.

What do you do for Snap?

I strategize and implement exceptional search engine optimization for our clients. A lot of people consider SEO to be boring or mundane, but there are plenty of sexy things about it. We make search engines like Google and Bing work for our clients to drive actual people to interact with their brand. It might not be as visual as something like web design, but I think making our clients money is pretty sexy.

What do you like most about your role?

I love getting to work with a variety of different clients and being exposed to a wide array of industries. I’m never bored and I will never run out of things to learn, and as I continue to develop and refine my own skills, I get to see my investment pay out in the work I do for our clients.

What do you like most about Snap?

Each person I work with has a passion for what they do and it creates an environment that provokes the development of our work. I am made better by the people around me, and I love it. I also greatly enjoy both beer and dogs, which are frequently present in our office space.

What can you never leave home without?

My Apple Watch. I love this thing. If I ever become president, the first thing I will do is buy one for everyone warm blooded tax payer in our great country.
